Trans Canada Insurance Marketing (TCIM) is an insurance Managing General Agent that benefits from underwriting authorities to design insurance coverage that will suit your need. The expertise of our team of underwriters is at your service to offer in-house solutions for your commercial property and casualty accounts. In addition to our in-house capabilities, we have access to additional capacity through offer and accept or open market placement. In Quebec we do business as Profescau Assurance Spécialisée, a long time MGA based in Laval. Although most of our in-house capacity is available throughout Canada, we have delegated authority from regional carriers that differentiates regional possibilities. We also provide support in the U.S.A for your Canadian based insureds. TCIM’s Executive Vice-President, Remi Pajot, leads the underwriting team and provides guidance to offer innovative solutions to your challenging needs.
Head office is in Winnipeg, Manitoba and provides support to our Manitoba and Saskatchewan brokers. In Quebec, our office is in Laval and provides bilingual services to the brokerage community. We have remote workers, close to their markets, in British-Columbia, Alberta and Ontario. The physical presence of underwriters in all the main Canadian markets provides a thorough understanding of the regional challenges. This provides you with the guarantee that we will quickly be able to advise if we can provide you with a solution and deliver our terms.
Products and Applications
TCIM’s internal authorities vary Province to Province in accordance with the Insurance permits of our Markets. We specialize in hard to place property and casualty risks. Over the years we have developed significant expertise in farm, construction and manufacturing risks. In addition to our internal capacities, we have access to numerous offer and accept markets, line slips and open market access trough various Lloyd’s brokers. No need to sign a contract, just complete the Broker Application, return to and you are ready to start to benefit from the expertise of our team of Underwriters! By doing business with TCIM, you must adhere to our payment terms: remittance by the 30th of each month in accordance with TCIM’s statement, accompanied by a detailed listing of items being paid. You must also undertake to comply with our Privacy Policy and maintain E&O coverage without interruption.
