TCIM is represented in Alberta by underwriters who work closely with TCIM’s British Columbia team and our head office team in Winnipeg.

TCIM’s appetite in Alberta is Commercial General liability classes, with strong appetite for construction, manufacturing and Professional Liability.

In addition to standard CGL, we can provide coverages for Professional Liability and Errors and Omissions as well as Directors & Officer’s Liability.

We have access to resources to write Farming accounts, – Grain, Beef, Dairy, Hog, and Poultry farms.

As Alberta was severely hit on the property side in the past, we would prefer to offer secondary participation as opposed to lead, however we can consider lead on the right accounts as well.

With regards to hard to place property accounts, we have access to approximately 75M$ of capacity for high hazard, high CAT exposure and occupancies where local markets have restricted appetite. Minimum premium on this would be $150,000.
